Refund policy

Exchanges

We are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. 

  • Made-to-Order Products: A $35 exchange fee applies. Initiate exchanges via re:do within 14 days of receipt. After 14 days, requests are reviewed case-by-case.
  • Custom Rings: Exchanges are permissible only for defective or incorrect items. Engraved rings cannot be exchanged, but remakes are available at a 40% discount.

Returns

We offer returns with a 25% restocking fee for made-to-order products.

  • Initiation: Start your return process within 14 days of receiving your item. Returns requested after this period may be declined.
  • Engravings: Engraved rings are not eligible for returns or exchanges. 
  • Refunds: Upon successful return and inspection of the item, refunds will cover up to 75% of the purchase price, excluding taxes, expedited fees, and shipping charges.

Order Cancellations

  • Regular Orders: Cancel within 2 days of placing your order. Requests after this period will be evaluated individually.
  • Expedited Orders: Cancellation requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Other Policies

  • Pricing: Prices for our wooden rings vary based on design and materials. Custom order quotes are subject to change.
  • Materials: Natural variations in wood and stone may affect the appearance of the final product.
  • Payment and Sales Tax: These remain as previously stated.
  • Expedited Orders and Shipping: We offer expedited services and shipping from Orem, Utah, USA. Insurance for shipments is available upon request.
  • Client Materials: If you provide materials for your ring, we will handle them with care. Excess materials can be returned upon request.

Order Cancellations

For regular orders: If you wish to cancel an order, you must make the request to do so within 2 days of placing your order. Requests to cancel an order after 2 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis and usually will depend upon volume of orders. For expedited orders: Requests to cancel an order will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Should you cancel your order, the refunded amount will be issued to the original form of payment. To cancel an order, please contact us through e-mail at info@dreamwoodshop.com.

Pricing

The prices for our wooden rings can vary greatly depending on the materials used and the complexity of the design. Prices quoted on custom orders may be subject to change should the order prove to be more costly than originally estimated. Should the price differ from the original quote given, notice will be sent to you via email and/or other contact information provided. 

Materials

Not all materials will look exactly like the photo shown. Wood and stones are natural materials and colors can vary from each piece. We are able to “recreate” rings, they may not look exactly like the photo or drawings from the original idea. 

Payment

For payment online, we accept most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, as well as PayPal money transfers. You may also place an order over the phone, using a credit card. For purchases made at art and craft shows, as well as by personal appointment, we accept cash and credit card payments. In the event of a refund, the payment will be issued to the original mode of payment. If the original transaction is more than 60 days old, the payment will be issued in the form of a check, paid and mailed to the credit card owner.

Sales Tax

All orders made online will reflect sales tax and be included in the final price at checkout.

Expedited Orders

We’re happy to expedite an order when a client requests and our production volume allows for it. Upon paying the expediting fee, we’ll agree upon a date, and work diligently to make sure your ring(s) arrive on time. However, paying the expediting fee does not guarantee that you will receive your order on the agreed upon date. In rare cases, issues arise with materials, technology, or the studio. 

Shipping

All orders are made in and shipped from Orem, Utah, USA. While we do have some rings in-stock, (available for immediate delivery), most of our wood work is made to size upon order.  For in-stock rings, please allow 1-3 regular business days for your order to ship. For all other orders, please allow 1-2 weeks after receipt of payment so that we may craft and ship your order. This timeframe may vary depending on our current volume of orders, so please speak to us before placing your order for a more accurate estimate. 

We are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage that occurs during shipping. When placing your order online, please make sure that your shipping address is complete and correct. If you would like to purchase insurance for your shipment, please contact us before placing your order.

Client Materials

At times, clients may provide us with more materials than necessary to craft their ring. If you wish to have any leftover materials returned, kindly make the request along with your submitted order, and we will be happy to send them back to you. However, if the materials are too large to be included with the commission, any additional shipping costs will be your responsibility.

Please note that while we handle client materials with utmost care, we are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage that may occur while in our possession or during shipping.

We understand that your materials are important to you, and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their safekeeping.
